All the staff were brilliant. They all seemed to be friendly and getting along with each other which helped the mood.
But the cramped space made life difficult. Having to be constantly moved during the assessment phase and then waiting for a bed to be freed up on a ward. The porters seemed to be most times just moving us around in the queue.
I was there on a day when the junior doctors were on strike, so A&E was manned by consultants, so I probably got more experienced hands. Even so it’s probably not a bad thing that the consultants get reminded of the experience the other way, every now and again.
1. I telephonically confirmed MRI appointment 24 hrs prior. Arrived and told "it is not until tomorrow"
2. Returned for MRI scan. Told by MRI team to contact GP for follow up. GP refuses and informs me to contact iMSK team. I contact them and am told they will call me to book appointment. Still waiting 5 weeks later despite calls and emails to them.
3. Requested MRI images in order to expedite via private healthcare. Refused on "security" grounds.
But at least I was contacted to make an appointment to discuss statins!
Maybe when I am able to stand or walk we could then address slightly elevated cholesterol?
My two visits to this center was horrible as I had gestational diabetes after my scan I had to wait for more than 2 hours for the consultation. But after the wait it was total waste of time as I was seen by some clinical fellow not a consultant. He didn’t have any idea about diabetes and he was telling I have to take thyroid medication but my TSH levels where normal as my GP spoke to me. The second visit was today and the same person was there and I was told i will called next but was pushed to the 4th place I waited about 2 and half hours and came back home as I don’t want to see that same clinical fellow. If the consultants are on strike then why are still holding the appointments and inexperienced clinical persons are there. Which is a total waste of time for everyone. I am totally disappointed with the service in there on these two occasions.
I received exceptional service from all involved with my care. I had my hip replaced by an extremely caring surgeon Mr Tsialogiannis, I felt he gave me such confidence in the procedure, a very caring friendly young man. It took only 5 months from the first time I went to see Mr Tsialogiannis to the time I had the operation. I had no pain from my surgery whatsoever, I didn’t need any pain medication, a first class operation and service, thank you again Mr Tsialogiannis for your professional service, Mrs Pauline Mitchell

Great, as most of the best Doctors and consultant are in this hospital. This hospital I have been for so many years.
During the procedure, all staff who took part were very professional and made me feel relaxed and confident about the whole prosses.
Audiology must be one of the most responsive and helpful departments.
St Peter’s is an asset to this community that needs all the support and funding it can get
I cannot fault the care I received. The nurses and all those looking after me were clearly motivated and dedicated. They were cheerful, helpful, friendly, and, considering what I had just been through and the emotions arising from my condition and the necessary changes to my body and lifestyle, just the friends I needed.
Excellent
